The Cleveland Browns have won five of their last six games and they have won four straight road games. They will be without their four top receivers due to COVID. The offense is led by Baker Mayfield with 3,082 passing yards, to go with 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He has 10 touchdown passes in his last four games. Austin Hooper has 35 catches this season and will be targeted throughour=t the day as he is the only starting receiver playing in this game. As a team, the Browns are rushing for 152.6 yards a game. The rushing attack is a two-headed monster, that is led by Nick Chubb with 931 yards and 10 touchdowns while Kareem Hunt has added 793 yards and five touchdowns. On the defensive side, they are giving up 26.7 points and 357.7 yards a game.

The New York Jets will be going for back-to-back wins for the first time since December of last year. The New York Jets haven’t won a home game since December 22 of last year. With a win last week they miraculously took themselves out of a shot at Trevor Lawrence. The offense is led by Sam Darnold with 1,767 passing yards, to go with six touchdowns and nine interceptions. Darnold and Joe Flacco have combined for 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The receivers are led by Jamison Crowder and Breshad Perriman, who have combined for 997 yards and eight touchdowns. As a team, the Jets are rushing for 102.9 yards a game. The rushing attack is led by Frank Gore with 605 yards and two touchdowns. On the defensive side, they are giving up 29.5 points and 392.7 yards a game.

The Jets are the worst offensive team in the NFL and have gone under in seven of their last eight games against a winning team. Three of the Browns' last four games against losing teams have gone under the total. I look for the Browns to pound the ball on the ground with Chubb and Hunt and using a short passing game to compensate for the loss of their receiving corps. The Browns defense should be able to control the Jet's offense and keep this game under the number.
