Creighton comes into this game against St. Johns with a 4-2 record but is 1-2 in their last three games with the losses coming to Kansas and Marquette. In the loss to the Eagles, Mitchell Ballock led Creighton with 26 points with six rebounds to go along with three assists. He was helped by Denzel Mahoney, who added 21 points and grabbed four rebounds. Damien Jefferson chipped in 17 points while grabbing six rebounds and dishing out three assists.

St. John’s has built a 5-3 record to this point in the season but they have lost consecutive games to Seton Hall and Georgetown. St. John’s started the season at 5-1 before losing consecutive games. In the loss to Georgetown, the offense was led by Isaiah Moore with a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds. He was helped in the loss by Posh Alexander with 16 points to go along with six assists and three rebounds. Julian Champagnie also had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds and two assists.

Creighton is one of the best teams in the Big East and will be looking to take out their frustration over their loss to Marquette. St. John’s is 0-2 in conference play and has covered just three times in eight games. The Red Storm defense has been a weak spot and Creighton is one of the top offensive teams in all of DI. Creighton can play defense as well. I see Creighton getting back on the winning side.
