Rutgers has had an up and down season so far. They opened the season with a win over Michigan State but then lost four in a row before getting a win over Purdue. Rutgers has not won a game played at home yet this season. They are coming off a 23-7 loss to the Nittany Lions last week. The offense is led by Noah Vedral with 1,214 passing yards, to go with nine touchdowns and eight interceptions. He has also rushed for 144 yards and one touchdown. They don't have much of a rushing attack, as a team, the rush for 128.3 yards a game.

Maryland has missed two games due to Covid. hey returned two weeks ago and lost 27-11 to Indiana. The Terps were missing several key offensive and defensive players including running back Jake Funk and wide receivers Rakim Jarrett and Jeshaun Jones. The offense is led by Taulia Tagovailoa, who has thrown for 1,011 yards with seven TDs and seven interceptions. Jake Funk will return for this game and he has rushed for 331 yards this season on 7.7 yards a carry.

Maryland will finally have their team back and healthy. Tagovailoa should be able to put up big numbers against a Rutgers defense that allows 242 passing yards per game. Without his weapons on offense, he has struggled but they should all be back for this game. Rutgers has struggled on defense all season and Maryland should be able to roll in this one.
