No. 21 Liberty comes into this game at a surprising 8-0. NC State has been an inconsistent ACC team this season. Liberty has already played an ACC team this season, knocking off Virginia Tech 38-35 as a 17-point underdog. Hugh Freeze brought in a lot of transfers in an effort to build up the program and hit gold with Auburn transfer Malik Willis. He leads the offense with 1,645 passing yards to go with 15 touchdowns and one interception. He has also rushed for 700 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. The rushing attack is led by Joshua Mack with 543 yards and three TDs. As a team, the offense is averaging 490.9 yards a game with 254.5 passing yards. The defense allows 308 yards a game and 175.3 passing yards.

NC State is coming off a 38-22 win over Florida Stae. The offense is led by Bailey Hockman with 1,044 passing yards to go with eight TDs and six picks. The rushing attack is led by Zonovan Knight with 545 yards this season with five TDs. Their pass defense ranks 107th with 278 passing yards allowed per game. On the offensive side, they are averaging 262.4 yards passing but just 135.1 rushing yards per game.

I thought this line was wrong when it came out and it looks worse as the week has gone on. Liberty is looking to go undefeated season and the Wolfpack are just looking to get to a bowl for what it's worth in 2020. NC State isn't that good, Their pass defense stinks and they've beaten up on bad-to-mediocre teams. They lost badly to a banged up and decimated Virginia Tech team, that Liberty beat two weeks ago. I am taking the points with Liberty in this one.
