This will be the first game of the season for the Boston College Eagles. BC won six games last season and they went 3-3 on the road. Dennis Grosel will probably get the start after throwing 155 passes last season for 983 yards and nine touchdowns. He will have the top three receivers from last season returning. They will need to find someone to replace A.J. Dillion in the backfield.

The Duke Blue Devils lost their opening game to Notre Dame but were competitive in the game. Quarterback Chase Brice threw for 259 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Eli Pancol and Noah Gray have combined for 146 receiving yards on eight receptions. The Blue Devils managed just 75 yards on the ground against the Irish. Deon Jackson had 15 carries for 52 yards.

This will be Boston College's first game this season and I can see them struggling to get their offense into a rhythm. Duke looked competitive in their loss to Notre Dame and they should be able to get their rushing game going and Brice should have a better game passing against the BC defense.
