Result: Loss
The Cleveland Indians have taken the first two games of this three-game set against the St. Louis Cardinals 14-2 and 2-1 in twelve innings. Carlos Carrasco got the win yesterday, going 6.0 innings and allowing just two hits with two walks and six strikeouts. The Indians will go for the sweep with Aaron Civaletaking the hill. He has made six starts this season, going 3-3 and posting a 3.15 ERA and 40 strikeouts.

Jack Flaherty had a strong outing, throwing five innings and giving up just one earned run on three hits, with two walks, and five strikeouts. Unfortunately for him, the Cardinals could not generate any offense. The Cardinals will hand the ball to Adam Wainwright for today's start. He is 2-0 with a 2.88 ERA and 16 strikeouts in four starts this season.

Both teams struggled at the plate yesterday and the Cardinals have struggled to score in both games. Both pitchers could very easily have the same success as yesterday's pitches. I am looking at another low scoring game in this one.
