When looking at the scheduling, the overall situation that each side finds itself in, while also considering some key O/U key trends, we feel that for sure the "over" is the correct call as far as the total is concerned in this one.
NC State is now 5-5 after last week's 29-19 loss at home to Duke. With another tough game at UNC next week, it's essentially now or never for the Wolfpack. Note that dating to last year NC State has in fact seen the total go "over" the number in six of its last eight after a SU/ATS home loss as a fav.
Georgia Tech just punched eligibility in its 28-23 win over Miami. The Yellow Jackets have seen the total go "under" in three straight, but note that GT has seen the total go "over" in four of its last five (dating to last season), after playing to three or more straight "unders" in a row. With a game at Georgia to finish up the regular season, don't expect the Yellow Jackets to simply roll over here in their final regular season home obviously.
With each side pushing the pace from start to finish like we believe they will, the "over" becomes the correct call as far as the total is concerned in our opinion.
