Ohio State is 8-1 after three straight victories following last week's 45-0 loss to Purdue. The lone loss was a 32-31 setback at Oregon.
The bottom line here though is that we expect the visitors to go up early, to control the game, but to then take the foot off the offensive gas-pedal in preparation for their home game vs. 10-0 Indiana.
Northwestern is 4-5 with three games remaining. It still has Michigan and Illinois, so there's hope. That said, the home side won't be rolling over here and while clearly we're not calling for an outright upset, everything is in place for a much more competitive battle than what this line would indicate in our opinion.
