These teams have been playing to several higher-scoring games to open the season, but we're now finally anticipating more of a defensive battle here between the Grizz and Warriors on Friday night.
Memphis has won three of its last four and is 7-5 overall, but it's off a 128-123 loss at the Lakers, and note that the Grizz have in fact seen the total eclipse the posted number in 8 of their 12 (dating to last year) off a SU road loss.
Golden State is 9-2 after a 120-117 win over Dallas last time out. The Warriors enter having seen the total go "over" in six straight, but that fact has only helped in driving this particular total here tonight vs. Memphis a few points higher than it normally would/should be in our opinion.
When you add up all of these situational factors, then consider this sky-high O/U line, the savvy call as far as the total is concered in our opinion is for sure on the "under."
