ECU is 4-4 after snapping a two-game slide with a 56-34 win at home over Temple last time out. The Pirates have seen the total go OVER in three straight, but note that dating to last year ECU has seen the total go UNDER in three of its last four after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.
FAU is now 2-6 after three straight losses, most recently a 44-21 setback at home to USF. The Owls have seen the total go UNDER five of their last seven dating to last year after playing to three or more straight OVERS as well.
FAU would have to sweep its remaining games now to qualify, so clearly that's not going to happen. We expect the visitors to "go through the motions" today and for the hungry home side to go up early, and then to control the overall pace/tempo.
