Florida beat the Devils 4-2 in New Jersey, and then it fell 7-3 at Boston two nights later. Now back at home, I like the Panthers to bounce back and to take another "bite" out of New Jersey.

The Devils were unquestionably the surprise team to open up the season, but New Jersey has come back down to Earth of late, loser of six in a row. The Devils will get things turned around again at some point, but further regression seems imminent to me here after their 4-1 loss in Carolina just last night.

Look for the home side to take advantage of this spot. Consider the Panthers on Wednesday.
