This is a 10* AFC EAST TOM on the OVER Buffalo/NY.

Both of these divisional opponents have played to several lower-scoring games of late, but I expect those trends to end this afternoon.

Buffalo is No. 1 in the AFC East at 6-1, while New York is tied with Miami in No. 2 at 5-3. Not far behind is 4-4 New England. It's a competitive division.

If this game were in Buffalo, I'd probably lean more to the UNDER, but because it's in New York, I love the way this one sets up as more of a "shootout," than a slower-paced defensive affair.

Buffalo has seen the total go UNDER the number in five straight after its 27-17 win over Green Bay last weekend. The Bills have been great on both sides of the ball, but especially offensively, as they average 29 PPG, ranked No. 2 overall.

New York has seen the total go UNDER in three straight. It's two-game win streak was snapped last time out in a 22-17 home loss to the Patriots.

It's all hands on deck for the Jets today as they try to avoid back-to-back divisional home losses. A win here today would obviously be huge for the Jets.

As I said, I'm expecting both sides to open up the playbooks offensively today and this faster paced game will indeed produce a higher-scoring final.
