10* NL TOTAL OF THE MONTH (OFF 2-0 PERFECT SWEEP!)
(MLB) Atlanta vs. San Francisco,
Total: 7.50 | -107.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* NL TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the OVER Braves/Giants.

Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm expecting those trends to end this evening.

The Braves have lost three straight and they've seen the total go UNDER in two of their last three. That includes a 3-2 loss here in yesterday's series opener. Note though that Atlanta has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 11 after playing to three or more straight losses in a row.

San Francisco has won three in a row, but it's also seen the total go UNDER in six straight. Note though that the Giants have seen the total go OVER the number in five of their last six after playing to three or more straight victories in a row.

The Giants are looking to deal the Braves another costly blow here. The visitors hand the ball to Kyle Wright, who is 17-5 with a 3.23 ERA. Wright had won his previous four starts before getting crushed in his last outing vs. the lowly A's, allowing eight runs over four frames. In two starts against the Giants he's just 1-0 with a ballooned 7.11 ERA.

The Braves though have to be liking their chances here tonight facing Jakob Junis, who is 4-5 with a 3.98 ERA overall this season, but who is 0-4 with a 5.44 ERA over his last ten trips to the hill.

Everything points to this total flying OVER the posted number sooner, rather than later.

Good luck, NP
