Looking at two teams that have struggled with offensive consistency from game-to-game, and I'm looking at two starting pitchers who have gotten out to decent starts. Because of that, I'm going to suggest a play on the UNDER.

Houston is averaging 4.09 runs per game, which ranks 17th, while also posting a combined 2.73 ERA, which ranks second.

Washington averages 4.12 runs per game, while allowing a collective 4.87 ERA.

But as I mentioned, these starting pitchers have gotten out to decent starts and I think they can keep the momentum rolling here.

Christian Javier is 2-0 with a 0.83 ERA for the Astros. He has 25 strikeouts and just six walks.

And then Erick Fedde is 2-2 with a 3.90 ERA for the Nationals. He's been a bright spot, as he has 26 strikeouts and 15 walks.

I'm going to say that Javier and Fedde will battle each other into the deeper innings and that'll ultimately help in driving this total UNDER the posted number.
