The Indians hand the ball to Aaron Civale (0-2, 9.58 ERA), who has given up 15 hits and walked five in just 10 1/3's innings of work this season. Civale isn't going to be able to just "throw a switch" and correct all his issues.

The A's counter with Frankie Montas (2-2, 3.28), who was shelled for five runs over five innings to the Phillies in his first start, but who has since rebounded by allowing four runs over his last 19 frames of work.
