This is a 10* TOP SIDE on Arkansas.
Teddy "Buckets" Allen led the New Mexico State Aggies to a First Round upset over UConn, but this is where we believe their "Cindarella" story ends.
Arkansas won't be taking anything for granted here after its close call in the First Round, outlasting Vermont by a score of 75-71. Last year the Hogs advanced all the way to the Elite Eight.
Allen was great with 37 points for the Aggies on Thursday, but after earning the school's first tourney win since 1993, a predictable letdown is imminent here in our opinion.
The Hogs uncharacteristically played at a really slow pace in their win over the Catamounts, as they were third in SEC this season in that category and ranked 28th overall.
New Mexico State has been unbelievable for bettors in the underdog role, going 5-0 ATS in its last five, but that's now only helped in driving the value the other way here.
The Razorbacks limited teams to 40.9 percent shooting this year, including 32.2 percent from deep and they're the much more experienced team at this point.
It's been fun New Mexico State, but all good things have to come to an end.
Lay the points, the play is ARKANSAS.
Good luck, NP
