10* NON-CONF TOTAL OF MONTH (+$13K L7!)
(NBA) Toronto vs. Phoenix,
Total: 221.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 221.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* NON-CONFERENCE TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the OVER Raptors/Suns.
Two playoff hopeful teams collide in the desert on Friday night and we're expecting some "fireworks" of the offensive variety.
Toronto is 35-30 overall, including 18-15 on the road. It's coming off a 119-1094 win at San Antonio, a victory which went UNDER the posted total. The Raptors looked great offensively and I say they carry that momentum over here. Toronto has seen the total go UNDER in five straight, but it's also seen the total go OVER in seven of its last nine after playing to five more straight UNDERS in a row.
Phoenix is 53-13, including 28-7 at home. It's coming off three straight road contests, going 2-1 in those games. It fell 132-122 at Milwaukee, then bounced back to beat Orlando 102-99, before then beating Miami 111-90. Note though that the Suns have seen the total go OVER the number in seven of their last 11 after a SU/ATS road win in which they held their opponent to 95 or fewer points in.
The Suns average 113.7 PPG, and I say they set the pace here at home. With Toronto having to match, we can expect this total to fly OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
Good luck, NP
