Washington averages 3.24 GPG, while allowing 2.78, while Vancouver averages 2.86, while allowing 2.84.

Washington comes in off a 4-3 OT loss at Edmonton, which is noteworthy for us as the Capitals have seen the total go UNDER in nine of their last 12 after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.

Vancouver is off a 5-3 win over Montreal. The Canucks enter having seen the total fly above the number in nine straight.

When these teams met in the Nation's capital back on January 16th, the total also went OVER the number in the Canucks 4-2 victory.
