This is a 10* ACC GAME OF THE MONTH on South Florida.

South Florida has been pretty pathetic this year, but I think this one sets up well for a solid cover for the Bulls in this one.

South Florida is just 7-19 overall this season, and that includes only 1-7 on the road. It averages only 57.5 points per game, but it plays with the added incentive of revenge here after falling 65-57 to the Pirates as 1.5-point favorites last week.

The Bulls got 18 points in a losing cause from Serrel Smith Junior in that one, while the Pirates were paced by Vance Jackson, who had 16.

USF would lose by an identical score of 65-57 to Tulsa in its most recent matchup.

East Carolina lost 69-66 at Central Florida this weekend as a nine-point underdog. The Pirates have struggled with consistency as well this year behind an offense that averages just 69.6 points per game.

After the close but no cigar loss last time out, I think the Pirates have a small letdown here. The Bulls play with revenge and they're getting a lot of points here in my opinion.

That's my read on this one. I'm not calling for an outright victory, but I do think the Bulls can keep this one competitive down the stretch.
