Dallas is off a tighter than expected 102-98 win over Toronto. The Mavericks have won four straight. The Mavs are winning this season because of their tough defensive play, as they only average 105.4 PPG.

They've seen the total go UNDER in six straight, and I mention that because Dallas has in fact seen the total soar OVER the number in seven of its last ten still after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row.

The Mavs had to play in the Suns shadown the last two years, so fatigue isn't going to be an issue here in the second game of the back-to-back in my opinion.

And for the Suns, they average 112.5 points per game, which ranks third in the NBA. Phoenix has won four straight as well, but it's seen the total go UNDER in three of its last four.

The fact that these teams have played to so many UNDERS of late, has driven this total a few points lower than it normally should be.
