10* GAME OF MONTH - 5-0 (100%) IN PLAYOFFS!
(NFL) Buffalo vs. Kansas City,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -110.00 Kansas City (Home)
Result: Win
Point Spread: -1.50 | -110.00 Kansas City (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* GAME OF THE MONTH on the Chiefs.
With a spread like this, the oddsmakers think these teams are pretty evenly matched.
And they are!
Buffalo avenged last year's playoff loss with a big win here in Week 5, but was then and this is now!
Both teams have turned the corner as far as their performances are concerned. Both Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes have looked great.
There really isn't a weak point in either's game at the moment, hence the spread being essentially a "pick em" for all intents and purposes.
So why then do I like Kansas City so much in this spot. If this game were being played in Buffalo, I'd be leaning to the Bills, as I do think that the "home field advantage" can not be overlooked as a very real deciding factor here.
Both teams are equally driven. The Bills would love to get the monkey off their back, but Mahomes and Andy Reid are out for redemption after last year's collapse.
Experience is another reason why I like Mahomes in this spot over Allen.
I look for this one to be competitive for three quarters, then I expect Kansas City to pull away down the stretch.
Lay the points, the play is the CHIEFS.
Good luck, NP
