Am I predicting an outright upset? Of course not. But the stage is set for a much more competitive battle than what this spread is suggesting.
The WMU Broncos are 4-7 this year. They're off an 85-52 road loss at Notre Dame. The Toledo Rockets are 8-3, and they're coming off a 95-63 home win over Marshall.
WMU is led by junior guard Lamar Norman Jr. who is averaging 18.1 points, 2.5 boards and 1.7 steals per game. The weak point for the Broncos so far has been on the defensive end where they concede 79.2 PPG>
WMU has faced some stiff competition early, so their defensive numbers need to be taken with a proverbial grain of salt.
