This is a revenge game for Washington, which needs to win out and get some help to earn a wildcard spot. It's 6-8 and lost to Dallas on the road by a score of 27-20 two weeks ago.
Washington lost 27-17 to Philadelphia last weekend, but with starting QB Taylor Heinicke cleared to play today, we're expecting a very tight battle here against a Cowboys team that's now clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2018.
Of course, home field advantage is still top priority for Dallas, but there's also no question that this does indeed set up as an immediate letdown spot as well.
I think the return of Heinicke is significant. Outright win? I'll stop short in calling for that, but all signs point to this being decided in the final moments.
