8* THANKSGIVING APPETIZER - 12:30 KICKOFF!
(NFL) Chicago vs. Detroit,
Total: 41.00 | -105.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 41.00 | -105.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an 8* APPETIZER on the OVER Bears/Lions.
The lowest total on the board, but a little too low in my opinion.
Chicago has Andy Dalton under center, which is a big upgrade as far as the passing game is concerned for the Bears. Justin Fields doesn't have the vision that his senior teammate does at this point. Detroit allows 27.3 PPG, so this is a big opportunity for the veteran.
The Lions are still out for their first win. Here's a good opponent to get that against, as the Bears are giving up 24 PPG.
Both teams are coming off low-scoring losses. Detroit's down to its backup QB in Tim Boyle, who was less than impressive in last week's 13-10 loss to Cleveland (15 of 23 for 77 yards and two INT's.)
Neither team will be in the playoffs. Both players and coaches will be motivated here though to post a victory on the national stage as they try to cement their jobs for another season.
Note that Chicago has seen the total go OVER in eight of its last nine after five or more straight losses in a row as well.
The value has now finally swung the other way as far as the total is concerned. The play is the OVER.
Good luck, NP
