(NBA) Memphis vs. Utah,
Total: 222.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
Total: 222.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the UNDER
Memphis is 8-8 overall, just 2-5 on the road. Utah is 11-5 overall, 6-2 at home.
Instead of concentrating on a side in this one though, I'll focus on the total instead and for a number of different reasons, I believe this number is a little high.
The Grizzlies have seen the total go OVER in three straight, which is significant to note as Memphis has seen the total go UNDER in eight of its last 11 after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.
It's off a humbling 138-95 setback at Minnesota, which is also significant to note, as the Grizz have seen the total dip below the posted number in ten of their last 14 after a SU/ATS road loss in which they conceded 125 or more points in.
After two straight losses, the Jazz have now won three in a row. All have been high-scoring victories, as they've scored 120, 119 and 123 in those three wins.
Note though that Utah has seen the total go UNDER in seven of its last ten after a SU/ATS road win in which it scored 120 or more points in.
The numbers/trends and the overall situation point to the UNDER as the correct call in my opinion.
Good luck, NP
