Point Spread: 20.50 | -112.00 Duke (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOP SIDE on Duke.
Louisville is looking for its sixth win of the year. It's a huge favorite on the road here, so eligibility appears to be a given coming into this matchup.
But I think Duke will play with pride here and make the Cardinals earn their win today.
The bottom line is, I expect this one to be more competitive than what the oddsmakers are trying to lead us to believe.
Louisville is off a 41-3 win over Syracuse, while Duke is off a 48-17 loss at Virginia Tech to fall to 3-7.
Duke struggles defensively, but I can't see Louisville running up the score in the second half.
The Blue Devils could be down to their second-string QB today in Riley Leonard, who I expect to do much better this week, after being pressed into service last weekend with an injury to Gunnar Holmberg.
Expect Malik Cunningham and the Cardinals to go up big early, but then to take the foot off the gas in the second half.
That's going to leave the back door wide open here for the Blue Devils, who are 7-2 ATS in their last nine off a SU/ATS road loss of 21 or more points.
So grab the points, the play is DUKE.
Good luck, NP
