This is a 10* MONDAY TOP TOTAL on the UNDER Rams/49ers.

The Rams are coming off a 28-16 loss to Tennessee, but they enter having won four straight on the road.

San Francisco is off a 31-17 loss to Arizona. Each team struggled with offensive consistency last time out, and I expect that to be the case here in this important divisional matchups.

Divisional matchups are always the most important and they almost always mean more to the home side. And that's the case this week. Clearly, the last thing the 49ers can do is turn this into a "track meet" and expect to "hang" with the high-flying Rams.

WR Robert Woods tore his ACL for the Rams. LA signed OBJ this week, but there's going to be some transition again in the passing game for Matt Stafford.

It's essentially do or die for San Fran now though, as another loss would put it in a deep hole. LA though has only averaged 22.32 PPG over its last three against the 49ers.

I expect more of a "chess match" than a "run and gun shootout."
