This is an 8* CUSTOMER APPRECIATION PLAY on the Browns.
Yes, Nick Chubb is out. It hurts, but I think that Baker Mayfield and the rest of the Browns are ready to continue to play with a chip on their respective shoulders following the OBJ debacle.
Cleveland is 5-4 after smashing Cincinnati 41-16 last weekend. Mayfield was decent, but the defense was superb.
And that'll again be the case here I think vs. another young QB in Mac Jones. Looks like the Pats made the right decision going with Jones as QB, as the young pivot has certainly looked a lot better over the last few weeks. New England has won three in a row, but the competition has been suspect (especially the defense), beating the Jets, Chargers and Panthers.
NE has a short turnaround with a game on Thursday night against Atlanta, so the urge to look ahead to that one will be there as well.
I say Cleveland can win this one outright, but in the end I'm grabbing the points.
The play is the BROWNS.
Good luck, NP
