I expect this non-conference matchup to have slower, more methodical pace.

The Quinnipiac Bobcats were 9-13 last year, and 7-10 in the MAC.

The Maryland Terrapins were 17-14 overall and 9-11 in the Big 10.

The Bobcats return their top two players. They were strong defensively last year, allowin gjust 68.9 PPG, and I think that defense will be even better thi season.

Maryland welcomes big man Qudus Wahab this season, he's 6'11" and will bring much needed size to the front-court. In exhibition play, Maryland ran over Fayetteville State 89-40. I expect another tough defensive performance today.

I look for these two teams searching for an early identity to double down on the defensive end. This number is high, the play is the UNDER.
