This is a 9* C-USA TOP TOTAL on the OVER Old Dominion/FIU.
Two teams with nothing to play for but pride collide in this one. I think that defense is going to be an afterthought today.
ODU is 2-6 and FIU is 1-7.
ODU is off a big 23-20 upset win over Louisiana Tech to snap a five-game slide, so the Monarchs will be confident and pumped up here to build off that victory.
FIU was humbled 38-0 at Marshall last week, but it's seen the total go OVER the number in nine of its last 12 after a shutout loss in which it conceded 28 or more points in (the Panthers actually average 293.5 yards per game thorugh the air, which ranks 20th.)
These are two terrible defenses. ODU will be able to run the ball (the Panthers have conceded 43.5 points per game on average over their last six), and FIU will be able to move it through the air.
This one has OVER written all over it.
