This is a 10* TOP PLAY on the OVER VT/BC.

A couple of 4-4 teams collide here and in my opinion, the home field advantage can not be overlooked as a very real deciding factor this weekend.

Virginia Tech is 4-4 and it snapped its three-game slide in last week's tougher than expected 26-17 win over Georgia Tech.

Braxton Burmeister was decent, as he had 248 passing yards and two touchdowns.

Tre Turner had seven catches for 187 yards and a touchdown.

The Hokies though haven't won back-to-back games since Week's 1 and 2 and I don't expect that strong trend to change here in Week 10.

And after starting out the season 4-0, the Boston College Eagles have now dropped four straight.

Most recently it was a 21-6 setback at Syracuse. In the end BC managed just 251 total yards of offense.

But here's the perfect opponent to get back on track against in my estimation.

BC will have to be careful though after its third-quarter meltdown last weekend.

The Hokies have a "middle of the pack" offense, but it's one which will be able to move the chains today.

Virginia Tech is conceding 177.9 yards per game on the ground though, so make sure to keep your eyes on Eagles’ running back Pat Garwo III, who has carried his team several times already this season.

In my opinion, everything points to this one being an old-fashioned shootout, where whichever team has its hands on the ball last is going to win.
