This is a 10* TOP THURSDAY TOTAL on the OVER Houston/Phoenix.

Two teams in desperate need of a victory collide in the desert on Wednesday night and in my opinion, this one has "shootout" written all over it.

Houston is 1-6 and Phoenix is 3-3 so far.

The Rockets are off back-to-back losses at the Lakers, falling 95-85 in the first game, and then 119-117 in the second.

The Suns come in with momentum though after back-to-back victories. First they won 101-92 over Cleveland, then 112-100 over New Orleans.

Phoenix has a somewhat favorable upcoming schedule now, so a long win streak is now a very real possibility.

I think the Suns have firmly shaken off their early season shooting struggles and I expect a much more efficient, and ultimately higher-scoring affair in this one.

The Rockets are rebuilding this season, but they're playing decently and I say they carry over their offensive momentum from their most recent loss to LA.
