This is an 8* TOTAL SPECIAL on the OVER Pacers/Nets.

Neither team has played to many high-scoring affairs this year, but we expect that trend to get broken in a big way on Friday night.

The 2-3 Brooklyn Nets have in fact seen the total go UNDER the number in all five of their games this year. They're off a terrible 106-93 home loss to the Heat. They'll be eager to bounce back here obviously (and note, Brooklyn has seen the total go OVER in eight of its last 11 after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row.)

Indiana is just 1-4 SU/ATS this year. Clearly, the Pacers can't be happy right now either, especially after their listless 118-100 loss in Toronto on Wednesday.

The Pacers once vaunted defense is a thing of the past. This is the perfect opportunity for the Nets' maligned offense to get back on track.

I expect the home side to push the pace from start to finish and as such, I expect this total to fly OVER the number as the game comes down the stretch.
