This is an 8* CUSTOMER APPRECIATION PLAY on the Hawks.

Detroit is off a 6-1 loss in Montreal last night and I think it'll struggle with the hungry 0-5 Blackhawks. Montreal was also the other winless team in the NHL until last night's result.

Now here's the perfect opponent and opportunity for the Hawks to "get off the schneid" as well.

Chicago has a difficult upcoming schedule as well, with games against the Leafs, Hurricanes and Blues all up next, which clearly puts added emphasis onto this evening's contest.

Note, the Hawks are also 7-2 in their last nine off a loss and with two or more nights of rest.

I say the Wings come in "gassed" here after last night's loss and I believe they'll get overwhelmed by this desperate Chicago side.
