This is an 8* TOP MAC EARLY PLAY on Eastern Michigan.

I expect the 4-3 EMU Eagles to pull away for a comfortable cover and win against the 2-5 Bowling Green Falcons this weekend.

Bowling Green has lost three in a row, while EMU has split its last six games.

But EMU has won four of its last six on the road. QB Ben Bryant has 1,550 passing yards, eight TD's and four INT's.

The Eagles ground game averages 114 YPG. The defense has been decent, allowing 25 points and 396 YPG.

Bowling Green is conceding 25.1 PPG, but it's lost four of its last five at home. QB Matt McDonald has 1,641 passing yards, six TD's, but also six INT's. McDonald isn't getting much help from his run game though which averages only 74 YPG.

Note as well that the Eagles are a sharp 23-9 ATS in their last 32 on the road, while the Falcons are a disastrous 8-22 ATS in their last 30 at home.

Bowling Green's decent defensive numbers are skewed by the level of competition.
