This is an 8* THURSDAY NIGHT TOTAL on the UNDER Broncos/Browns
Both sides got out to hot starts, but each comes into this Thursday night contest desperate for a victory.
Whoever comes out on top, I think it'll be a lower-scoring affair.
Denver is 3-3 and off a poor 34-24 loss at home to the Raiders. Las Vegas was dealing with a crazy off-field circumstance and a three-game losing streak of its own and Denver was just not able to match its intensity.
Cleveland is 3-3 after getting destroyed here last week 37-14 by the Arizona Cardinals. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are both injured and Baker Mayfield took a big hit as well.
Mayfield lost two fumbles and had an interception in last week's loss.
Broncos' QB Teddy Bridgewater struggled last week as well, throwing a season-high three interceptions and also losing a fumble.
Mayfield will be completely one-dimensional in his offense today, and that makes him predictable.
The Broncos are only averaging 21 PPG this year, so this beleagured Browns' defense catches a break.
When you add it all up, this one has "CHESS MATCH," not "SHOOTOUT," written all over it.
The play is the UNDER.
Good luck, NP
