This is an 8* O/U SPECIAL on the OVER Patriots/Jets.

Both teams played to a couple of lower-scoring contests in Week 1 and I expect a similar lower-scoring afair here as well.

New York lost 19-14 to Carolina, while New England fell 17-16 at home to the Patriots.

Mac Jones was actually efficient in the Patriots loss, completing 74 percent of his passes for 281 yards and a touchdown. The rushing attack looked pretty good too, finishing with 125 yards.

New England will be opening up the playbook this week though as it looks to avoid the 0-2 hole.

The Jets got 254 yards and two TD's from Zach Wilson in his debut. Wilson was constantly under pressure though, as he was sacked six times. Carey Davis had 97 yards and two TD's.

New York was terrilbe defensively last year. It looked OK against a mediocre Panthers offense.

I say let's not overreact to their offensive results in Week 1. Each was in fact very efficient. Look for that to translate into a few more points in Week 2.
