This is a 10* GAME OF THE WEEK on Georgia Southern.
I got down early and have an unfavorable line, but regardless, I like underrated Georgia Southern to comfortably cover with the large spread that it's been afforded.
The Eagles are now 1-1 after last week's 38-6 road loss at Flordia Atlantic. Cam Ransom struggled somewhat in that one with just 98 yards, one TD and one INT.
But I think he'll have some opportunties today against contented 2-0 Arkansas, which enters off a big 40-21 upset of then No. 15th ranked Texas last weekend. QB KJ Jefferson was nothing to write home about though with 138 yards and an INT.
Keep your eyes on Georgia Southern RB Logan Wright, who has 206 yards and two TD's already for the Eagles.
Arkansas isn't going to need to run up the score in the second half. It will be running the ball throughout this one though, with Trelon Smith with 177 yards and two rushing TD's so far.
With Texas A&M up next weekend, followed by Georgia and the rest of its SEC schedule, this also sets up as "LOOK AHEAD" spot for the home side.
I'm grabbing the points and expecting a tighter than expected battle.
