10* GAME OF THE WEEK (12-4 RUN!)
(NFL) Green Bay vs. New Orleans,
Point Spread: 4.00 | -110.00 New Orleans (Home)
Result: Win
Point Spread: 4.00 | -110.00 New Orleans (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* AFTERNOON GAME OF THE WEEK on the Saints.
The Saints went 12-4 last year, and then lost to the Bucs in the second round of the playoffs.
Drew Brees is gone, meaning that it's now the Jameis Winston running the show under center. Brees struggled last year, so this is in fact not a downgrade at all.
He has plenty of weapons as well, including Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray.
But New Orleans was great defensively last year, ranking fifth in points allowed and fourth in total yards allowed.
The Packers look great on paper, but one has to wonder where Aaron Rodgers heart and head really are? To say it was a gong show of an offseason in Green Bay would be an understatement.
I don't think it's an issues that's just been swept under the rug, and it'll likely get exposed once again as the season progresses.
I say the value is on the home side (neutral location, but still the "home" team. Hurricane Ida damaged New Orleans, so they moved their first "home" game to Jacksonville.)
Jacksonville is a difficult venue to travel too, so it makes it doubly difficult for Green Bay as well.
I say the outright victory is possible, but my official call will be to grab as many points as you can on the SAINTS.
Good luck, NP
