TOP NL TOTAL - SOLID 142-119 MLB YTD!
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. Milwaukee,
Total: 8.00 | -112.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 8.00 | -112.00 Under
Result: Win
This is an 8* TOP NL TOTAL on the UNDER Phillies/Brewers.
Philadelphia won the first game of this series by a score of 12-0.
Then Milwaukee won here 10-0 yesterday.
While the first two games of this series have flown OVER the number, I'm finally expecting more of a "duel" in the series finale.
The visitors go with Kyle Gibson (4-2, 3.16 ERA)who enters off his worst start of the year, allowing eight runs off eight hits over five innings in a loss to Miami last week.
It was just the second time in seven starts for the Phillies that he's conceded more than three runs. I say there's obviously no need to hit the panic button if you're a Gibson fan.
The home side goes with Freddy Peralta (9-4, 2.70) who is also off an uncharacteristically poor start, allowing four runs in a setback to the Cardinals on Friday. It was his first start back after a ten day IL.
Too early to hit the panic button if you're a Peralta fan either though obviously (note he's 4-2 with a 2.47 ERA at home.)
Philadelphia has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last 11 in trying to revenge a five runs or greater road loss to an opponent as well.
This number is high, the play is the UNDER.
Good luck, NP
