10* TOP SUNDAY TOTAL ~ OFF 100% 10* SAT. SWEEP!
(MLB) Seattle vs. Arizona,
Total: 9.00 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
Total: 9.00 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOP SUNDAY TOTAL on the UNDER Mariners/Diamondbacks.
The Mariners are playing well and in the hunt for a Wildcard spot. The Diamondbacks can only play the role of spoiler down the stretch.
Regardless, after the first two games of this series have gone OVER the number, I expect this one to fall UNDER on Sunday.
The Mariners go with ace Chris Flexen, who is 11-5 with a 3.52 ERA. He is off a no-decision to the Astros on Monday, allowing two runs over six innings. Over six starts in August Flexen was 2-0 with a 2.68 ERA spannin 37 innings.
The home side goes with Tyler Gilbert, who is 1-2 with a 2.93 ERA. He is off a loss to the Padres on Monday, allowing five runs over five innings. Gilbert's come back down to Earth after firing a no-hitter, but he draws a favorable opponent here at home vs. this "on again, off again" Mariners offense.
And while Gilbert owns a pedestrian 4.50 ERA on the road, he has an elite 1.78 ERA at home.
I expect these two starters to battle into the latter frames and I believe this will ultimately help in driving this total UNDER the number once it's all said and done.
Good luck, NP
