I am travelling today, so don't have as much time to be in depth as I normally am with my analysis today.
Both teams have been playing to plenty of UNDERS of late.
Both teams are desperate for a victory as well after a string of shoddy play.
SD has lost seven of ten, including three in a row.
Philadelphia has lost seven of ten as well, including four in a row.
Situationally it sets up nicely as a slug-fest in my opinion.
Snell is 6-4 with a 4.80 ERA for the Padres. He's been better at home than on the road, but still consistently inconsistent all season.
Matt Moore is 2-3 with a 6.07 ERA for the Phillies. He's been poor this year.
It's a perfect storm of situational factors colliding to make the OVER the correct call in this one.
