This is a 10* TOP NL TOTAL on the OVER Phillies/Diamondbacks.

Both teams have been struggling to plate runs of late, but I say that trend comes to and here tonight.

The Phillies are in desperate need of a spark right now. They've lost six of their last ten, including three in a row. The first two games of this series have both fallen UNDER the number, and the Phillies have managed just four total runs in the process.

They'll have an opportunity here against Diamondbacks' veteran Madison Bumgarner, who is 6-7 with a 4.30 ERA. He's been great over his last six stars, posting a 2.09 ERA.

Zack Wheeler is 10-7 with a 2.56 ERA. He's had great success against the Diamondbacks throughout his career, but he's off a bit of a dud here in his last outing, allowing four runs in a loss to the Reds over four innings.

Philadelphia has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last nine in trying to revenge consecutive road losses against an opponent though.

Clearly these two starters have been great, but I believe they're both in the wrong place at the wrong time on Thursday.
