10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK (THURSDAY) 11-3 NFL RUN TESTED!
(NFL) New England vs. Philadelphia,
Total: 38.00 | -108.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 38.00 | -108.00 Under
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the UNDER Patriots/Eagles.
The Eagles had a lead at half time in their 24-16 loss to Pittsburgh here in their Week 1 NFLX opener last weekend, while the Patriots trailed going into the half in their 22-13 win at home over the Football Team.
The New England total snuck UNDER the number, while the Eagles total sailed OVER.
I think Thursday's game is going to stay UNDER.
The Patriots look poised for a letdown here. I can't see Bellichick taking this one too seriously. Both Cam Newton and Mac Jones started last week, but it's unsure who will see time today for New England. I expect to see a heavy dose of RB Rhandre Stevenson though, last week he was instrumental with 127 yards and two TD's on ten carries. The Pats were good defensively as well, conceding just the 13 points.
As I mentioned, the Eagles looked good in the first half last week, but they then clearly lost their focus and resolve in the second.
Philadelphia will look to play a full four quarters today though in its second straight NFLX home game, before hitting the road in its final contest (only three NFLX games this year and moving forward.)
Jalen Hurts saw time last week. So too did Joe Flacco. We'll also Nick Mullens, who struggled last weekend.
I look for the Eagles to focus on the defensive end from start to finish here. And as I stated up top, I think the Pats will simply go through the motions today.
This one has UNDER written all over it.
Good luck, NP
