10* AFTERNOON TOP INTERLEAGUE TOTAL (HUGE 127-98 MLB YTD!)
(MLB) Toronto vs. Washington,
Total: 9.00 | 102.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOP IL TOTAL on the UNDER Jays/Nationals.

Washington has seen the total go OVER in three straight. That includes in yesterday's 12-6 series opening victory here against the Jays.

Toronto has also seen the total go OVER in three straight. It's lost four of its last five, so it'll be eager to return to form.

While we've seen plenty of high-scoring action from each team of late, I think the value on the total has finally swung the other way on this one.

Toronto looks to snap its recent string of poor play with Jose Berrios on the mound. He's 8-6 with a 3.52 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. He is off a dud, allowing six runs over 4.1 innings in a loss to the Angels. It matched his shortest start of the season, which came back on April 14th.

No need to hit the panic button if you're a Berrios fan obviously. He's been better at home than on the road this year, but he's a great 4-2 with a 3.75 ERA in all DAY games.

The home side goes with Josiah Gray, who is 0-1 with a 4.13 ERA. He most recently allowed three runs off five hits while striking out six over six innings in a loss to the Braves on Friday.

Since getting traded to the Nationls Gray has made three starts and he's posted a 2.81 ERA and 1.06 WHIP.

I'm not going to lay the price on the Jays on the road, but I do think Berrios will bounce back here after his outlier last time out.

And there's no reason not to think that Gray can't carry over his recent momentum as well.

This number is a little high, the play is the UNDER.

Good luck, NP
