This is a 10* TOP AL TOTAL on the UNDER Mariners/Rangers.
Both teams have been playing to some higher-scoring affairs of late, but everything points to more of a "DUEL" in the opener of this series in my opinion (Seattle has seen the total go OVER in two straight, while Texas has seen the total fly OVER in three straight.)
The Mariners go with Tyler Anderson, who is 5-8 with a 4.24 ERA overall this season, but who has posted a respectable 3.45 ERA in three starts for Seattle since coming over from the Pirates.
The Rangers go with Taylor Hearn, who is 2-3 with a 4.01 ERA. He normally works in tandem with Spencer Howard in long relief, but the two will make seperate starts here in this series. Hearn is 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA at home this season.
I expect these starters to go deep and for that to ultimately help in driving this total UNDER the posted number.
