I think this total is a little high. Cleveland's seen the total go OVER in four straight, but I expect these starting pitchers to battle deep. And ultimately I expect that to help in driving this total UNDER once it's all said and done.

Cleveland goes with Cal Quantrill, who is 3-2 with a 3.13 ERA. He most recently allowed two runs over six innings in an unfortunate no-decision to the A's on Wednesday.

Note that 21 of Quantrill's 76 strikeouts this season (spanning 97.2 innings), have come over his last three outings!

Griffin Jax is 3-1 with a 5.45 ERA for the Twins. He earned a win over the hard-hitting ChiSox on Tuesday, conceding three runs with ten strikeouts over six innings.

Jax has turned the corner of late, posting a sharp 18:5 K:BB over his last 20.1 innings of work, spanning four starts.

In my opinion, the stage is set for a classic "duel" between these two young/hungry starting hurlers.

This number is high, the play is the UNDER.
