This is a 10* THURSDAY NIGHT TOP TOTAL on the OVER Steelers/Eagles.

The preseason is difficult to handicap, as no one, even the coaches sometimes, knows exactly who will be playing.

This is an abbreviated NFLX season as well. Pittsburgh could have a small advantage here, as it's already played (and won) in the Hall of Fame Game. In fact, I had the UNDER in that contest and it ended 16-3. Pittsburgh's offense did finally start to get untracked in the second half of that one, as it scored all of its points after the break. I think that momentum continues here from the "get go."

Philadelphia has plenty to work on on both sides of the field this year. It finished 4-11-1 last year.

The Steelers' defense looked pretty good on both sides of the ball last week, but it's hard to truly judge its defensive performance going up against the Cowboys backups and wannabe's.

I think defense will go out the window here. Expect a wide open, faster-paced affair that goes OVER as it comes down the stretch.
