(MLB) Detroit vs. Cleveland,
Total: 9.50 | -105.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 9.50 | -105.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOP AFTERNOON TOTAL on the OVER Tigers/Indians.
Detroit has seen the total go UNDER the number in nine straight. I say that string of UNDERS comes to an end here.
The Tigers have also been trading wins and losses over their last five games and held on for a 2-1 victory here last night.
Cleveland has now seen the total go UNDER in three straight.
Wily Peralta is 3-2 with a 3.47 ERA for the Tigers. He gave up two runs over four innings in a no-decision to the Red Sox in his last outing. He needed 96 pitches to get through the short outing and he walked the final two batters he faced. Further regression is imminent, as note that he's now posted multiple walks in five straight starts and not struck out more than four since July 5th.
Zach Plesac is 6-4 with a 4.64 ERA. He most recently allowed six runs off ten hits with zero strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Jays on Tuesday.
Since returning from injuy in mid July Plesac has been poor, posting a 5.74 ERA and 14 K's over 26.2 frames.
These two starters are primed to get LIT UP here this afternoon. With each exiting early, look for this one to fly OVER sooner, rather than later.
Good luck, NP
