EARLY AL TOP TOTAL (115-91 ALL MLB YTD!)
(MLB) Seattle vs. NY Yankees,
Total: 10.00 | -105.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 10.00 | -105.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an 8* AL TOP TOTAL on the OVER Mariners/Yankees.
New York has won eight of its last ten. It's won the first two games of this series, both have been lower-scoring UNDERS.
I believe that Saturday's contest sets up as more of a SLUG-FEST finally though.
The Mariners go with Chris Flexen, who is 10-5 with a 3.75 ERA. He gave up two runs over 6.2 innings in an 8-2 win over the Rays in his last outing.
One thing I'll point out though about the rookie Flexen, is that he's been astronomically better at home than on the road (posting a 2.69 ERA at home and a 5.50 ERA on the road.)
The Yanks go with Andrew Heaney, who is 6-7 with a 5.27 ERA and who gave up four runs and struck out four over four innings in a loss to Baltimore on MOnday. Over 19 starts he's now conceded 20 homers and I believe he's going to struggle again here.
Finally, note that Seattle has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 11 after seeing the total go UNDER in three or more straight contests.
This number is a little low, the play is the OVER.
Good luck, NP
